The Mieko Miyazaki / Guo Gan duo was born in France, after both musicians left their respective country of origins thus creating the backdrop for a meeting that would have never taken place if neither had left the Far East. And yet, the Japanese koto and Chinese erhu were made to meet just as the guitar of Django Reinhardt with the violin of Stephane Grappelli!
