CD Pasión Olivier Vernet

The works brought together in this selection share the same impulse, that of Hispanic dance.
The "Tango Furioso" by Pierre Cholley is the only work on this album specifically composed for organ duet (four-hands organ). Dedicated to our duo, we performed it for the first time on the 15th of June, 2008, at Meaux Cathedral, in the presence of the composer.
No other piece had originally been intended for the organ. However, the transcriptions and arrangements for piano duet (four-hands piano) to which they gave rise, and the warm orchestral colours wich they call forth, make their interpretation on the organ a legitimate venture. (...) Olivier Vernet
