Description

CD Sonate a violino e violone o cimbalo op.V C. Banchini

An inventor of genius.

In 1725 Roger North wrote that when the first sonata by Corelli was
heard in London it swept away all other musical forms, whatever they
were. And it was precisely with these Sonatas, Opus 5 that the greatest
Italian composer of the late 18th century imposed entirely new
standards of Baroque music on all of Europe.

This title was released for the first time in 1989.
