Following a first volume in 1995, Olivier Vernet has just recorded a second opus on the historic Soultz organ. Built in 1750 by Jean-André Silbermann, this outstanding instrument has just been restored to original condition.
Olivier Vernet has created a programme for the "public at large," performed at the inaugural concert on the 22nd of May, 2011, which stretches over almost a century and a half of French music: from the middle of the Seventeenth Century with Louis Couperin up to the French Revolution with Claude Balbastre.
