Each port of call is the pretext for a different stage in the development of the musical itinerary, which thus begins to sound like a metaphor of eternal landscapes, a pictorial allegory painted by a
contemporary artist using ancient colours with a futurist varnish. Sometimes a chant rises like a muezzin's prayer or a siren's song, or a touch of flamenco or a Sardinian motif suddenly emerges mischievously, then a swaying rhythm appears before vanishing into the swirls of the synthesizers.
